Social Justice Days & Classroom Workshops

SOCIAL JUSTICE CLASSROOM WORKSHOPS

Our classroom workshops are designed to engage students in an interactive presentation about issues facing our local communities. Links to Catholic Social Teaching can be embedded into our classroom workshops as can other curriculum outcomes to best meet your teaching and learning needs.

Specifically for secondary students in Years 7-12, our classroom workshops are focused on homelessness, poverty, sustainable fashion, asylum seekers and refugees, volunteering, advocacy and social inclusion.  While most of our workshops are 6o mins in duration, we are able to be flexible with our delivery to meet your school’s needs.

For further information or to book a workshop, please complete the form below or contact your local Youth Engagement Officer.

SOCIAL JUSTICE DAYS

Our social justice days are a fun and exciting way for us to engage with students and school communities. These days are designed to enhance the students’ learning experience by engaging them in a full day of interactive workshops designed to challenge them about how they think about social justice and the issues affecting their communities.

These days also provide the students with the opportunity to interact with other like minded students from different schools. For more information about Social Justice Days happening near you or to inquire about being a host school please contact your local Youth Engagement Officer.
