Social Justice Days & Workshops
SOCIAL JUSTICE DAYS
Are a fun and exciting way in which we engage with students and school communities. These days are designed to enhance the student learning experience by engaging them in a full day of interactive workshops designed to challenge them about how they think about social justice and the issues affecting their communities.
These days also provide the students with the opportunity to interact with other like minded students from different schools. For more information about Social Justice Days happening near you or to inquire about being a host school please contact your local Youth Engagement Officer.
SOCIAL JUSTICE CLASSROOM WORKSHOPS
Are designed to engage students in an interactive presentation around how the Society applies Catholic Social Teaching to issues facing our local communities. Specifically for secondary students in year 7-12 we have 30 – 60min workshops available focused on addressing homelessness, poverty, asylum seekers and refugees, volunteering, advocacy and social inclusion. Workshops often cover curriculum outcomes and are designed to be interactive for the students.
