Our Youth Programs

Buddies Days

Buddies Day is a community engagement program designed to give families support by providing their kids with a fun day out as well as an opportunity for volunteers to become positive role models within the community.

Camps give children aged 8-12 and 13-17 experiencing hardship, a cost-free holiday activity that they would not normally have access to.

SENSE Youth Mentoring

The St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland’s SENSE Youth Mentoring program offers support and mentoring to teenagers aged 13-17 needing a ‘hand up’

Palm Island Immersion

Palm Island is a week-long immersion where participants will assist the teachers at St Michael's, the Catholic school on the island. Other activities include an Elder dinner, where we have an opportunity to engage with the Elders, a night at the local PCYC interacting with the community and lots of swimming with the kids after school.

Tutoring Program

The Tutoring program offers students the opportunity for individual academic help with their homework assignments and revision.

Sports Programs

Based on the belief that sport should be readily available, accessible and inclusive for all children; our Vinnies Sports Programs offers children the opportunity to play recreational sport free of charge.
