An initiative of the Winter Appeal encouraging young people to advocate and stand in solidarity with some of our societies most vulnerable
Homelessness is a rising issue with an estimated 116,427 people across Australia facing life without somewhere safe, stable and secure to live, they are facing life without a home. Community groups such as schools, parish ministries and youth groups to participate in the Vinnies Sleepout Initiative to raising awareness and advocate for people within their community who might be experiencing homelessness, by experiencing what it might be like to ‘sleep rough’ for an evening.
The Vinnies Sleepout is designed so that any community group can hosted and run their own event. To register please complete the form below.
